Our local animal shelters need help as they now face an over-capacity crisis due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

- so in an effort to prevent more- overcrowding if the shelter mus- close their doors to the public- the humane society- of south mississippi is now - urging residents to adopt,- foster, - or donate.- - "this is going to cause a major overcrowding- crisis.

Right now we're already- seeing it with our large dogs.- we're calling it a large dog- capacity crisis, which is why - we're putting out an emergency- plea for foster parents - for large dogs.

We're also- hosting an adoption special for- - - - large dogs, offering $7 - adoptions for dogs 35lbs and- over, located in red, blue, and- yellow pods."
