Our rer is away this week and this is our last sports express of the season.

This week is very unconventional due to basically every sporting event in nation either being suspended or canceled becuase of coronavirus.

This including four local teams who were supposed to play in the new york state winter championships this weekend.

Brookfield and cooperstown girls basketball, lowville boys basketball and whitesboro boys ice hockey's postseasons are on pause.

While the players were in dsimay, in speaking with coaches, the community was just as affected by the news.

Zach shambo: i talked to a few people just around in our building and stuff and they're super supportive and they always theyy should be proud of it and i'm sure everyone up here we understandw we want to make sure that obviously the safety of the public is number one.
