This Southern Rail train driver delivered a brilliant poetic announcement while pulling into London Victoria station to the amusement of the commuters on board.
Peter Kenworthy managed to record the two-minute announcement that Steve, the driver, made as they arrived in London on February 23.
Kenworthy tweeted: "Praise where praise is due @SouthernRailUK our driver Steve operating the 1725 ex Gatwick to London Victoria made our day and week with his poetic onboard announcements." He also told Newsflare: "If only all train announcements were like this!" The train driver opens his poem with: "I'm pleased to announce we've arriving bang on time, I hope you've had a nice smooth ride because I drive my train with pride."
