Roger Stone Found Guilty of Lying to Congress, Witness Tampering.
Stone was on trial for obstructing a House investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
A federal jury found Stone guilty on all charges Friday.
The trial concluded with unanimous guilty verdicts on five felony counts of lying to investigators, one count of obstructing a congressional probe and one count of witness tampering.
Prosecution urged U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson to have Stone taken into custody, which she declined.
Jackson placed Stone under the same restrictions he’s dealt with for months while out on bail.
Stone's fate now lies in Donald Trump's hands, with many wondering if the president will pardon his former political adviser.
