Maguire confirmed whistleblower could testify freely

U.S. Representative Terri Sewell, a Democrat from Alabama, asked Maguire if he could assure to the committee that the whistleblower is authorized to speak to the committee with the 'full protections of the whistleblower act'.

"I am working with counsel, with the committee to support that request," Maguire responded back.

She also questioned Maguire if he felt there would be a 'chilling effect' on people who want to come forward.
