Trump To Work With Rand Paul On New Iran Deal

Politico reports that President Donald Trump is trying to reach a new deal with Iran.

He has chosen Rand Paul to help broker a back channel deal.

Paul suggested being the conduit between the US and Iran over a round of golf this past weekend.

Trump gave Paul his blessing for the sensitive diplomatic mission.

Paul proposed sitting down with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif to extend a fresh olive branch on the president’s behalf.

The aim is to reduce tensions between the two countries.
