Reuters reports Boris Johnson officially kicked off his campaign for Prime Minister on Wednesday.

Johnson, who led the referendum campaign to leave the EU, praised the strength of the British economy in a speech to supporters and promised to execute Brexit by October 31st of this year.

The former London mayor said, “After three years and two missed deadlines, we must leave the EU on October 31.

I am not aiming for a no-deal outcome.
