Kim Jong Un Says Peace On Korean Peninsula Depends On U.S. Attitude

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said during a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin that peace and security on the Korean peninsula depend entirely on the attitude of the U.S. in the future.

Kim's remarks were reportedly viewed as maintaining pressure on the United States to be more flexible in accepting Pyongyang's demands to ease sanctions after negotiations with President Donald Trump broke down in February.
