Who Is The Man Who Murdered 49 In New Zealand Mosques

The man suspected of carrying out terrorist shootings at two New Zealand mosques was a frequent traveler.

According to CNN, among other countries, the Australian spent time in Pakistan, Turkey and Bulgaria in recent years.

Brenton Harrison Tarrant was charged with one count of murder in a Christchurch court on Saturday.

The massacre has left 49 dead so far, and dozens wounded.

Tarrant was remanded in custody to reappear in court on April 5, with officials saying he would face more charges.
