Civilian Fatalities Reported After Strikes Near School and Hospital in Idlib City
At least 12 people, including seven children, were killed when airstrikes hit the city of Idlib, Syria, on March 13, according to the Syria Civil Defense, also known as the White Helmets.
Both the White Helmets and pro-opposition media said Russian airstrikes hit residential neighborhoods, including an area near a school and a hospital.
Russia media, citing officials, reported that a Russian airstrike targeted a Hayat Tahrir al-Sham munitions stockpile in the city.
Storyful has not confirmed the targets of the strikes.
Earlier on Wednesday, a series of airstrikes targeting a prison in Idlib allowed prisoners to escape, local media reported.
