Working hard to beat poverty across the city

This past week saw a huge announcement from our Labour Government: over half a million more children will benefit from a free nutritious meal every school day, as the Government puts £500 back into parents’ pockets every year by expanding eligibility for free school meals. This includes just over 8,000 children in Brighton and Hove and thousands more children across Sussex.
