Bristol Mayor Marvin Rees loses bid to stand for Labour at next General Election in new seat

Lewisham Mayor Damien Egan has been selected to represent the party in the Bristol North East seat after beating Mr Rees and South Gloucestershire councillor Leigh Ingham.
