M&S chief’s trade rules idea worth investigation

Opponents of the NI protocol — the so-called Irish Sea border — will applaud Marks and Spencer chairman Archie Norman for his hard-hitting attack on the bureaucracy caused by the EU export rules, especially since the grace period will end on September 30. That will mean even tougher rules being imposed as is already happening with UK exports to other parts of the EU.
