The searchlights, described as sort of ghosts by one of the characters I’m controlling, move just a little faster than they should, which has already led to two failures on a relatively easy run through an exposed patch of terrain. So, I take a few seconds, allow one searchlight cycle to happen, and tighten my timing, making sure my agent gets to her objective without being spotted. Hannah and Alva, our heroines, work better when they stick together. They have managed to put one tough police captain to sleep and scare off his men using little less than a strong sling, their ability to stick to the shadows and create darkness, and one blowgun that fires only sedative-tipped projectiles. Trial-and-error, especially when dealing with many guards and light sources, is needed, but the pair finds ways to push through. This level has forced them to split up, and I don’t like it.
