There’s no new 2D Mario action for Switch 2 yet, but Mario Bros. Wonder and Mario Maker 2 are on sale from $42
The Nintendo Switch 2 is off to a (mostly) solid start with praise for Mario Kart World and a reinvigorated sense of excitement across the webs for Donkey Kong Bananza after yesterday’s impressive Direct showing. But there is still one glaring omission from the launch window lineup…Mario. There has been no word of the new 3D Mario game and we might very well be quite a ways out from a new proper 2D entry at this point. That leaves titles like the fantastic Super Mario Bros. Wonder as well Super Mario Maker 2 and the aging New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe as some of the best ways to get your fix of Mario side-scrolling action on Switch 2. Fortunately, if you don’t already own a copy for your Switch 1, all three titles are now seeing discounts courtesy of the latest Woot sale to tide you over until what only might be next year:
· Super Mario Bros. Wonder *$45* (Reg. $60)
· Super Mario Maker 2 *$42* (Reg. $60)
· New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe *$40* (Reg. $60)
