Appeal: Burglary At Mosque, Huddesrfield

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a mosque in Huddersfield.

Officers were called to the Jamisalifa Islamic Centre on Halifax Old Road, Birkby at 3.34am this morning ( 2 September) to a report of a burglary there.

Officers attended the scene at which a masked suspect had broken in through a door and unsuccessfully attempted to steal property from inside.

He was described as masked and wearing a hooded black coat and all black clothing
