A murder investigation has been launched in Leeds following the fatal stabbing of a man in the Headingley area of the city.
Police were called to Cardigan Road shortly before 4:30pm yesterday to reports that a man had been stabbed. Emergency services attended and provided medical treatment, but the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody at this time.
