Hard Hitting Knife Crime Message Reaches Thousands of Young People in Leeds

Hard-hitting messages on knife crime have reached thousands of young people across Leeds during a month-long awareness campaign linked to the imposing Knife Angel sculpture’s visit to the city.

A comprehensive programme of activity, led by the community safety partnership Safer Leeds and supported by the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership, ran throughout February following the arrival of the 27ft tall sculpture, created from over 100,000 seized blades by the British Ironwork Centre, to the Royal Armouries Museum.
