Appeal after Serious Collision, Meanwood Road, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Leeds in which a cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries.

The incident happened at around 9:25pm last night (29/2) on Meanwood Road close to the junction with Buslingthorpe Lane.

A Seat Altea travelling on Meanwood Road away from the city centre collided with a Scott Aspect electric-powered pedal cycle which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The cyclist, a male aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
