Appeal: Serious Injury Collision, Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Leeds.
It is thought to have happened at around 5.20am today (Tuesday) when a black BMW 320D travelling along Selby Road towards York Road collided with railings.
The BMW driver, a 31-year-old man, has been taken to hospital. His injuries are said to be life-threatening.
Road closures are in place and people are asked to avoid the area at this time while investigation work continues at the scene.
