CHARGE: Mutley Plain incident

A man has been charged in connection to an incident in the Mutley Plain area of Plymouth in the early hours of Friday morning.

20-year-old Meeraz Bachu, of Ebrington Street, Plymouth has been charged with the following offences:

-          Attempted murder

-          Assaulting an emergency service worker

-          Affray

-          Section 18 causing grievous bodily harm with intent

-          Possession of a bladed article

-          Two counts of threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.

He is due to appear at Plymouth Magistrates Court on Saturday 9 April.
