Appeal Following Fatal Collision, Castleford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman died following a serious collision in Castleford. 

Emergency services were called to Newton Lane, Castleford, following reports that a black Triumph motorcycle had been involved in a road traffic collision at around 2.58pm on Sunday afternoon (26 September 2021). 

Andrea Varty, aged 53, died from her injuries at Leeds General infirmary yesterday morning (27 September 2021).
