Cliff top assault being investigated in Penzance

Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted on the cliff top at Newlyn Green, Penzance, at around 12.30pm, on Saturday 17 April.

Two men, who were walking in opposite directions, were involved in an altercation which resulted in one of them becoming momentarily unconscious, with head injuries.

The casualty was treated at the scene by ambulance crew.

Police are appealing to the public for witnesses who may have seen the incident take place or who may have phone footage of it.
