Body Believed To be Missing Leeds Man Stephen Jarvis Found.

A body believed to be that of a missing man has been found in Leeds.

Stephen Jarvis, aged 54, from Halton, was reported missing on Friday evening and was the subject of a public appeal.

Mountain rescue volunteers supporting the police search for him found the body in woodland at Temple Newsam yesterday afternoon.

While formal identification is yet to be confirmed, it is believed to be that of Mr Jarvis.
