Gold smuggling case: Ranya Rao, 3 others fined Rs 271 crore by DRI for smuggling 324 kg gold from Dubai

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) has issued notices to Sandalwood actress Ranya Rao and three others, imposing a hefty fine of Rs 271 crore for allegedly smuggling 324 kg of gold from Dubai. Ranya Rao, daughter of a senior IPS officer, faces a Rs 102 crore fine.
