Aitch Drops New Single 'In Disguise'

It hones in on his melodic side...

With his debut album on the way,* Aitch* is treating us to yet another teasing single. ‘In Disguise’ is token Aitch; in a cool breeze of melodic rap, this earworm of a single is overflowing with charisma and a bouncy, Summer-ready flow.

The jangly charm of ‘In Disguise’ is immediate; featured singer-songwriter Bakar sets the tone, his easy flow perfectly easing you into the chilled-out energy of the track. By the time Aitch’s vocals hit the track, you’re well and truly disarmed, effortlessly falling into the steady rhythm.  

It’s no secret that Aitch’s lyrical quips and sharp bars have made a name for him over the years; his command of language is a delight, able to switch from hilarious tongue-in-cheek to hardhitting home- truths at a moment’s notice. ‘In Disguise’ showcases a lighthearted side of the Manchester rapper, sure to have you smiling as the track rings out.

His musical diversity is equally as compelling. The August drop of ‘Close To Home’ is sure to explore the many sides of Aitch, if the singles thus far are anything to go by; Stone Roses-inspired ‘1989’s sound is worlds apart from Ashanti feature track ‘Baby’s nostalgic R&B shimmer. We can’t wait to see what else Aitch has conjured up for this debut - we’re sure it’s going to be full of surprises.
