It's an outstanding psychedelic adventure....

*Matt Berry's* musical adventures took a psychedelic twist this summer, with the release of superb lysergic song cycle 'The Blue Elephant'.

Largely recorded alone - aside from some powerhouse drumming - the record dipped into those *long-lost sonic experiments from '67 and '68. *

Reminiscent of The Nice or Syd Barrett's imperial run, 'The Blue Elephant' deservedly won acclaim on its release.

*Clash wrote* at the time: "Much more than a simple retro retread, it bursts with life and invention, fuelled by the clear joy of the central ensemble. Tune in and drop out, man."

Album highlight 'Like Stone' has been remixed by Sean Ono Lennon, and it's a stunning re-work that transports the song to another dimension.

Sean Ono Lennon is a noted producer and songwriter in his own right, and he brings his array of vintage kit to the fore on this stellar remix.

With the breakbeat drums and neat synths it feels like a Tame Impala deep cut, yet with Matt Berry's vocal on top it contains the air of some late 60s out-take.

Truly blissed out, it's a remix to lose yourself in, with Sean Ono Lennon adding endless layers of sound.
