His new album is incoming...

*William Doyle* has shared his new single 'Nothing At All'.

The English musician has sculpted a new album, with 'Great Spans Of Muddy Time' set to arrive on March 19th.

A record that is deeply English in tone - Monty Don and Syd Barrett are cited in the press release - it uses these influences and leanings in a fresh way.

Take new single 'Nothing At All'. It's a synth jam with a pop directness that bursts of the speakers, while recalling those early 70s Eno solo records.

Epitomising that "Englishman-gone-mad" feel, it's got elements of brown wallpaper and corduroy trousers lingering in the background.

Much more than a retro exercise, though, 'Nothing At All' works as a succinct yet otherworldly pop song, something that takes time to truly unfurl.

Check it out now.
