Following allegations social distancing was breached at a recent show...
Dance duo *The Chainsmokers* could face an investigation from the New York Department of Health.
The group played a show in New York at the weekend, advertised as having met social distancing rules.
Footage from the show went viral, with the crowd clearly abandoning quarantine decorum as the set continued.
Authorities did not intervene, however, with New York governor Andrew Cuomo now ordering an investigation.
He says: "We have no tolerance for the illegal and reckless endangerment of public health..."
The Chainsmokers have yet to comment.
Videos from a concert held in Southampton on Saturday show egregious social distancing violations. I am appalled.
The Department of Health will conduct an investigation.
