East Austin bar, music venue closing after 12 years

After more than a decade of offering drinks and live music, the Skylark Lounge is closing its doors. Austinites Johny LaTouf and Mary LaTouf first opened the bar and music venue in East Austin back in 2013. Now that they are in their 60s, Johnny and Mary are ready to close this chapter of their lives, according to an announcement. Read more at KXAN News.
