PlantX Life Inc has announced a new partnership with professional athlete and Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields, who will become a PlantX ambassador. The company said Fields will help promote its brand and product offerings and will help PlantX advocate for the benefits of living a plant-based lifestyle. “Justin is an emerging leader in the world of football and his plant-based lifestyle is a true inspiration to so many people,” said PlantX founder Sean Dollinger said in a statement. Fields also commented, stating: “Living a plant-based lifestyle at first was just a short-term challenge, which quickly turned into a passion and way of life for me. PlantX is the perfect destination for people looking to educate themselves and try new products that are plant-based.” As well, Fields will curate a list of his favorite PlantX products through a dedicated ‘Justin's Picks’ section on the PlantX e-commerce platform, and help further promote the company's offerings to his dedicated audiences across his personal platforms. Customers will also be able to access ‘Justin's Picks’ selections in the company's brick-and-mortar stores in Squamish, British Columbia and San Diego, California. PlantX and Fields also announced their sponsorship of ‘Pros Week’, a charitable event presented by David Mulugheta and The Fair Catch Foundation. Proceeds from the event will be donated to charities and initiatives supported by the event such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, local Foster Homes in Austin, Texas and Alex Okafor's Survivor Scholarship Program. In addition, PlantX and Fields are planning to make joint donation of US$20,000 along with plant-based protein bars, drinks and nutritional supplements to the Fair Catch Foundation. Vancouver-based PlantX Life styles itself as the digital face of the plant-based community with a one-stop destination for all things plant-based, like an online shop and meal delivery services. The online shop houses over 5,000 vegan products, and its recently added meal service delivers chef-created dishes straight to the doors of Western Canada.
