NHTSA Investigating Old Ram Pickup Trucks Over Brake Transmission Shift Interlock Failures

Partly replaced by the DT for model year 2019, the DS-generation Ram pickup truck line is under investigation for post-remedy failures of the brake transmission shift interlock system. The suspect population comprises 2013 through 2018 model year DS pickup trucks from the 1500 all the way to the 5500 series, namely vehicles equipped with a steering column shift lever.
