Africa: Launch of $600M Fund to Improve Maternal and Newborn Health in Africa

[allAfrica] The Beginnings Fund aims to prevent over 300,000 avoidable deaths by expanding access to quality care for mothers and babies in sub-Saharan Africa, in partnership with Ministries of Health.
