As of SeptemberĀ 2019, Smith is the top-ranked Test batsman in the world, according to the ICC Player Rankings. Smith is often regarded as one of the best batsmen in the world and considered the "best since Bradman" due to his distinctively high batting average. He played for New South Wales and Sydney Sixers in domestic cricket. He is the captain of Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.
