Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She first gained prominence starring on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World (2014–2017). She signed with the Disney-owned Hollywood Records and released her debut single, "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" in 2014, followed by her debut studio album Eyes Wide Open in 2015, which peaked at number 43 on the US Billboard 200. She then released the following dance-pop oriented albums Evolution (2016), Singular: Act I (2018), and Singular: Act II (2019).
