Who’s mark do you bear?
Revelation 7 paints a picture of heaven holding back the winds of judgment until the servants of God are sealed on their foreheads.
This sealing is not symbolic only but represents the eternal claim of God over His remnant.
In the ancient world a seal marked ownership, authority, and protection.
A king sealed his documents with wax and signet to declare it authentic.
In the same way God marks His people to show they belong to Him and that no power of darkness may claim them.
