Nicola Sturgeon said rapist Isla Bryson is “a biological male” and admitted she should have been “much more straightforward” when questioned at the time.
She said anyone committing “the most heinous male crime against women” forfeits the right to choose their gender, adding the debate over self-ID had “lost all sense of rationality”.
