In a chilling new statement, the commander of Russia’s 98th Guards Airborne Division, Roman Ivanov, has revealed how Russian forces “liberated” the embattled town of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The multi-phase operation included a dangerous crossing of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal, brutal combat in a fortified industrial zone, and a final push through residential and forested areas.
