Russian paratroopers have seized control of the settlements of Belovody and Vladimirovka in Ukraine’s Sumy region, raising the national flag over Belovody.
Backed by the Sever Group of Forces, Russia also launched a high-precision massed airstrike on Ukraine’s Starokonstantinov airfield, targeting its infrastructure.
The Ministry of Defence confirmed all objectives were achieved.
This development marks a strategic shift in frontline operations as Russia intensifies its campaign with precision-guided missiles and drones, expanding control across contested border areas and aiming to disrupt Ukrainian air capabilities in central and eastern sectors.
