Wayne LaPierre is resigning as President of the NRA, a tenure which has been plagued by his corruption, pursuit of personal wealth, and failure to defend gun rights on multiple occasions.
Hopefully, the NRA will start to recover from this imbecile, but only time will tell.
Gun control organizations are celebrating the change, even though he was an old man anyways and also did capitulate to pressure on multiple occasions instead of defending gun rights, so they may be in for a rude awakening if a 2A absolutist takes over.
