As usual, Wayne gave an excellent review of what we covered in the previous lesson then continued into Proverbs 12.

Bullinger’s breakdown (taken from the Companion Bible, page 879) of Proverbs 12:1-28 KJV pertains to the pious and ungodly, their advantages and disadvantages with reference to Domestic and Public vocations.
We took the time to look at the meaning of Reproof (Hebrew word: תּוֹכַ֫חַת) because it is so important to embrace when receiving wisdom.
We learned in Proverbs 12: 9-11 KJV that a righteous man is kind to animals.
The contrary is that if one is cruel to animals, something is wrong with that person and you should not trust them.
This does not mean that you cruel when you take the life of an animal for food.
Wrapping up the lesson, we learned in Proverbs 12:21-23 that it refers to “no evil” refers to the word ‘aven which vanity.
‘Aven is rather a course of bad conduct flowing from the evil desires of fallen nature, than breaches of the law as such (Companion Bible, App 44.iii).
There shall no particular type of evil, that pertains to vanity like those that worship idols.
God will use the things that happen to us will turn out profitable in God’s eyes.
We may never see it in our lives, but there will be some good reason for it.
