President Biden is looking to crack down on surprise fees for renters when they are searching for an apartment or have already moved in.
He announced an initiative which would make sites like Zillow.com, Apartments.com, and AffordableHousing.com have to list the total cost of the rental units -showing all fees upfront in an effort to make landlords lower upfront costs to compete with each other.
