'Under The Pole' expedition explores deep sea life off the island of Guadeloupe

The underwater exploration programme "Under The Pole" has been exploring the depths of the world's seas for the past fifteen years.

Two months ago, they dropped anchor off the French island of Guadeloupe, in the Caribbean, to study the deep-sea animal forests of the mesophotic zone (between 30 and 200 metres), a section still largely unexplored.
