Ethiopia's warring sides agree to facilitate humanitarian aid to 'all in need'

The Ethiopian federal authorities and the Tigray rebel group have announced an agreement to provide "humanitarian access to all those in need" in the war-torn Tigray region, delivering the news at a press conference in Nairobi.

The announcement follows talks on the implementation of the peace agreement signed on 2 November in Pretoria, South Africa, including the disarmament of rebel forces, the restoration of federal authority in Tigray and the delivery of aid.
