A deadly cobra hiding inside a motorbike lunged out at an official who was attempting to pry the snake out.
A resident in Jajpur, eastern India, called wildlife officials after finding the cobra slithering around inside their bike.
Pramod Kumar Sahu and his assistant Chitta Ranjan Panda arrived at the scene and managed to get the cobra to leave the bike.
At one point, the snake lunges towards Sahu before the official managed to capture it.
Subhendu Mallik, General Secretary of Snake Helpline said: "The man was very fortunate to spot the cobra before starting his bike.
Or he could have landed in serious trouble." This footage was filmed on June 14.
