Truck hits utility poles on Burrstone Road

Burrstone Road was shut down Friday afternoon after a truck hit multiple utility poles in front of Utica College.

Directions today --- after a truck knocked down several utility poles.

Check out this video from the scene.

One by one, the poles were hit.

You can see them leaning or down entirely.

The state department of transportation had to set up generators....for the traffic lights in the area.

And national grid was promptly on scene.

The road is back open tonight.

Several homes in new hartford and frankfort are under a boil water advisory....
