Southern Miss introduced Amory native Will Hall as head football coach

Southern Miss has hired Will Hall to lead the football program.

He played high school football for his dad at amory high school.

Now, will hall is back in the magnolia state as the head football coach at southern miss.

The university's athletic director introduced hall this morning on the hattiesburg campus.

He came to southern after working as the offensive coordinator at tulane.

Hall acknowledged the difficult times for the football program in recent years but encouraged golden eagle fans to come together.

"if all of our resources will unite, and we're going to, and get behind this thing, we're fixin' to have so much dadgum fun that we'll talk about it for years and years."

Hall's first game as head coach is set for september fourth of next year at south alabama.
