Lexington is closing-in on the ten-thousand mark in total coronavirus cases.

The health department reported 58 new cases monday, bringing the county's total to 9,992.

The good news is the number of people who have recovered from the virus nearly doubled the new cases with 113.

There were two new deaths, raising
