Black Lives Matter protesters gather in Rome after racist graffiti is written on U-Haul truck

Regarding some damage done to this moving truck.

They say they were called to first street yesterday, after getting complaints of criminal mischief.

A woman brought them to a uhaul truck parked on the road that had swastikas and racial slurs on it.

They say one of the vehicles tires was also flattened.

They say the person who brought them to the truck was in legal possession of it.

Less than a day after police responded to this incident, there was a black lives matter gathering on the exact same street the truck was vandalized on.

A group of black lives matter protesters gathered on first street in rome where the vandalism took place.

They carried signs reading "stop killing innocent black lives" and "call out rome racism" on the street they wrote "no racists" and "black lives matter" joya stuckman said she's been harassed a few times in the past, and was in the process of moving when she found the racist graffiti written on the side of her u-haul truck.

"there have been some minor comments made, but everything finally came to a head when i was leaving the neighborhood.
