Just before 7 tonight, crews were called to cosby manor road near keyes road for a tree falling and knocking down wires.

As you can see lots of damage.

We spoke with the homeowner who tells us what happened.

"my wife and i looked out the window, around 6:30 we see a big red maple limb had broken off our neighbors tree.

And wires were down there were about 3-4 sets of wires down, and what happened (was) we had a real strong gust of wind that came through.

We had some earlier storms rain and wind, but this was a powerful one that tree has been there for probably 70 years.
